Darth Malum's Lightsaber

I created the base mesh in 3DS Max, imported it into Zbrush to sculpt the leather on the hilt as well as add subtle edge damage. Then I created the low poly mesh in 3DS Max, baked the high poly details in Marmoset, and textured it in Substance Painter.

All textures are 4096 x 4096 with a packed occlusion, roughness, and metallic map optimized for Unreal Engine.

A real-time Sith lightsaber inspired by Respawn's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order promo art and concept art from Bioware's Star Wars: The Old Republic. The lowpoly model was created in 3ds Max and sculpted in Zbrush. PBR texturing being done in Substance Painter then all rendered in Marmoset Toolbag.
