A environment I created in Unreal Engine for a mixed reality demo that involved using a device to detect a gas leak along a damaged cannister. I was responsible for the level design, lighting and set dressing. I also cleaned up the high poly model of a THAAD vehicle that was sourced from stock 3d model website. This included retopologizing the vehicle, baking high poly geometry details into the normal map to lower poly count, re-texturing the entire vehicle in Substance Painter, and integration in Unreal.
Additionally, I was responsible for converting the hand-held gas leak detector game mesh into a 3d printable VR/mixed reality game controller and operating the 3d printer. I designed an integrated Oculus Quest controller holder as part of the 3D print so the user could hold the facsimile of the device instead of the controller for increased immersion.
