I created this scepter topper as an actor's prop for a Shakespeare theatrical production. The topper was based on the actor's likeness. I first attempted to take and use photos for photogrammetry in Agisoft Photoscan. As you can see below, the photos from my iPhone were very low resolution and resulted in a mesh that wasn't very detailed. Seeing this, I used the scan for general proportions and resculpted the actor's face in Zbrush using the photos I'd taken as reference.
I printed the finished model in ABS plastic on my Zortrax M200 printer. After breaking off the supports (above), I was left with the final model which went on to get sanded, and then painted by the prop department.
